Creek Horse

Found in the creeks, brooks, and smaller tributaries of the Ohio River, The Eastern Creek Horse is docile member of the water elemental genus and a close relative of the terrifying Kelpie. The Creek Horse is shy and prefers a solitary route down a rocky stream. It has been said, however, that adventurous gnomes have hired them for upriver trips – but really, who’s ever met a gnome who liked adventure?

This particular Creekhorse was spotted in Little Sugar Creek as she headed toward the Little Miami for an afternoon of kayak watching. Actual size shown
