This art quilt “Depth” features blue, green, and purple Island Batik fabrics and is my interpretation of sun glinting off the water or the view looking up through water. It is machine pieced and the purple diamond shape is machine folded-edge applique. It is machine quilted with a green, blue, and purple variegated thread from Superior Thread and a lime green yarn has been couched where the purple seams meet. It has a knife-edge faced binding. It comes with a hanging sleeve and rod, ready to hang on a nail.
