This is the story behind this picture:

“I’m almost 12 years clean. Although it’s wonderful, I live everyday with mass amounts of shame & regret. I didn’t raise my children. Although I did the right thing by giving them to my parents & not dragging them through the depths of hell with me I still suck! I’ve been [sexually assaulted] by men & the father of my children & will never get justice. I’ve also been beaten within inches of my life by the father of my children yet went back to him countless times like a moron! ??‍ I continue to live positive because all I ever prayed for was to be a mother to my 3 incredible children & then to show them I would never disappoint them again through their children. I work for 2 multi billion dollar corporations while I have a felony 5 on record. Non violent felony might I add but none the less a felony. I own a home. I recently divorced my 2nd husband because he has gone back to dope. It’s killing me but I’m doing it, I’m making it. Life is good today, lonely, but good!”
