Resplendent Rose

Resplendent Rose is a drypoint etching that was created by drawing on a plexiglass plate with a sharp etching needle.  The finished plate is inked up, wiped off, and printed on damp paper with the help of an etching press for each print in this edition of only 30 original prints.  After drying, each print is hand signed and numbered.  Framed Size is 14″ x 11″ Available framed for $100, or original print only on request for $55.

Description

This print was created for a show at the Village Artisans gallery in Yellow Springs, OH a couple of years ago where the show theme was Black and White plus One.  I have always been fascinated with butterflies of all kinds and when I found photos of a Common Mormon Rose butterfly I knew I found my perfect subject.  I found this butterfly to be intriguing beautiful and eye catching so when it came to naming this piece, I could hardly call it “Common” so I thought Resplendent Rose was perfect 🙂

Shipping Policy

All orders can be picked up from the Collaboratory at Talbott Tower, 114 West First Street, Unit B, Dayton, OH 45402.  Or if you prefer, you can pick up your purchase from my home in Beavercreek, or a half way meeting place.  :)  If necessary, Shipping can be available.  Buyer pays shipping expense, USPS, UPS, or FED EX , plus $10 purchase packaging fee.

Refund Policy

Refunds available if artwork and or frame components are returned in perfect condition in original shipping container and wrapped in protective packing materials within 5 days of delivery.  Buyer pays return shipping cost.  Refund issued upon receipt of returned merchandise.
